The latter - just 4 minutes walk from the apartment - are not only an architectural monument of inestimable value but over the years have become a real symbol of the city of Milan. Dating back to late Roman times and located in front of the Basilica of San Lorenzo, the columns come alive especially in the evening when many young people usually gather in the surrounding square to eat a good crêpe (as per tradition) or to sip a drink sitting on the marble raised between a column and the other. In addition, from our apartment you can walk in just 15 minutes to Piazza del Duomo, the museum of the twentieth century and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
