A short walk will be enough to admire one of the symbols of the capital: Castel Sant'Angelo. Located on the right bank of the Tiber, this charming building has taken on many identities throughout history: first funerary monument, then fortress and prison, but also Renaissance residence that has seen active within its walls Michelangelo, Today Castel Sant'Angelo is still the summer residence of the Pope but it is above all a museum that houses courtyards and sumptuous rooms richly frescoed. As soon as you walk through the front door of this charming four-room apartment, you are immediately struck by the refined style of the furniture, the careful choice of colors - green, blue, light blue, ocher and orange, perfectly combined with each other - and the flooring - characterized by designs and decorations that vary from room to room.
